Jonathan Fried, MD
About Jonathan Fried, MD
Dr. Fried is a native “cheesehead,” having spent his early years in Madison, Wisconsin, although he has been a Hoosier since age 12. He attended Indiana University Bloomington as an undergraduate, then obtained his MD from the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Fried completed residency training at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana, and has been practicing emergency medicine for most of his career. He has many interests outside medicine, including gardening, organic farming, and sustainability. He shares these interests with his wife of 19 years, Beth. Their farm in Zionsville also includes 2 dogs, 4 cats, chickens, and ducks. Interestingly, Dr. Fried was also part of a team that won a regional Emmy for a documentary about AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa and The IU Kenya AMPATH Program.
Dr. Fried reports that “This is the most supportive, and unselfish group of physicians I’ve been associated with.”
