Dr. Solway grew up all over the Midwest, with the majority of time in Iowa. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Iowa, then attended the Tulane University School of Medicine. She returned to the Midwest to complete her residency training at Indiana University Emergency Medicine. Dr. Solway’s favorite part of working with BCEM is the people. She recalls that when she went into early labor, all of her shifts were voluntarily filled within 6 hours. She also appreciates the uniqueness of our 3 clinical sites, and that we work with excellent Advanced Practice Providers who are extremely clinically competent, while maintaining excellent “situational awareness” and help keep the ED moving. Dr. Solway is married to Brian, also known as “Dr. Dad,” who has a PhD in Neuroscience; they are proud parents to a son and daughter.
